Our township residents rose to the challenge when they were offered the opportunity to paint a canoe paddle to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. These beautiful works of art can be viewed throughout the Turkey Fair at the Lyndhurst Legion, the United Church, the Lyndhurst Library and the Anglican Church. It’s quite something to see!

This is only a teaser of the many artistic paddles that will be on display. We look forward to welcoming you to the TF on Sat, Sept 16 so you can see them all for your self up close and personal. If you’d like to see photos of the paddles beforehand, you can visit the Leeds & 1000 Islands Township facebook page. They have them posted there where people can vote on their favourite paddles.
